Andreas Anagnostou
Andreas Anagnostou has been creating contemporary ceramics and sculptures since 2011 in Thessaloniki. He was born in Kozani, Greece in 1972. He initially studied architecture in Athens and interior design decoration in Thessaloniki and then focused on ceramic art in Georgia Galinou’s workshop. He is a member of the “Visual Artists Association of Northern Greece - SKETVE” and of the “Ceramic Artists Association of Northern Greece - SKAKVE”. He has participated in several art exhibitions and was awarded the silver award for sculptures in the Third Annual Competition of SKETVE in June 2013.
Andrea’s ceramics are characterized by curves that intensify light effects and earthly tones. His organic forms are often influenced by art nouveau trends.
