It is easy to get carried away with paintings of flowers, and as spring had just arrived, I couldn’t resist. A simple set-up showing the marvelous heads of the complex roses. I drew inspiration from the greats such like Monet and Van Gogh, striving to capture the movements and vibrations of colour. Placing the roses in a vase instead would have told a different story.
